Born in the hills of my beloved Tennessee helped in molding me into who I am today. My roots run deep on the farm where the rolling hills, valleys, and rock creek meet to make a picture that has implanted itself in my mind for eternity. A little piece of Ireland is the slogan of Erin, Tenn. the small town that was named by the Irish many years ago when they declared "this place reminds me of Ireland". So the name stuck.
October 2010, my husband and I will celebrate our 50th anniversary. A journey that started in Hamilton, Alabama has taken us through Tennessee for a few years, after moving from Tupelo, Miss. Then in 1976 we moved across the Mississippi River heading west into Little rock where we have been since.
Our children, graduated married and eventually moved out, leaving us the way we were 50 years ago.
Life for the most part is good. Getting older is inevitable - but hard on the body and mind. I don't like growing old with all its difficulties, but I'm glad to be alive and enjoying my children and their families. There is nothing like seeing your offsprings healthy and happy.
I'm glad you stopped by. Be sure and leave a footprint so I'll know you came. A note would be nice as well.
